Authentic emotion made timeless and tactile is Jenny Cvek’s style and mission. I created a brand identity that elevated the vibrance of her joyful portraiture and helped her stand way out in a visually homogeneous wedding photography market.
The main identity elements express the theme of longevity through authenticity. A badge structure was selected for the logo, inspired by old bookplates; a pine bough serves as a symbol of persistent beauty, reflecting how treasured portraits age; warm serif body typography and hand-customized script headers evoke hot coffee in an old bookstore; subtle background textures make the content come alive.
The photography industry is flooded with neutrals, pastels, and muted earth tones; a decision no doubt made to highlight the colors in the photos themselves. The bold decision to complement Jenny’s photos with a vibrant and varied brand palette resulted in a presence that commands attention on both paper and screen without drowning the content in visual volume.
